Abba Mästarmatjes is a matjes herring with a mild spicy taste and is the mildest and most bought in our range. Mästarmatjes contains herring (Clupea harengus) of the highest quality, which is fished in the North East Atlantic and only comes from viable stocks. The herring is allowed to mature in barrels with a layer of spices in our cellar in Kungshamn on the west coast of Bohuslän until it tastes its best and is ready to be enjoyed! Matjessill has a given place at the midsummer celebration or is eaten as it is together with fresh potatoes, sour cream, chives and a little browned butter.
Ingredients: HERRING in chunks, sugar, salt, vinegar, spices (including cinnamon, nutmeg, padouk wood), dill, white wine vinegar, natural flavoring (contains onion), red padouk extract, preservatives (sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate).

Mästarmatjes enthält Hering (Clupea harengus) von höchster Qualität, der im Nordostatlantik gefischt wird und nur aus lebensfähigen Beständen stammt. Der Hering darf in Fässern mit einer Gewürzschicht in unserem Keller in Kungshamn an der Westküste von Bohuslän reifen, bis er am besten schmeckt und genossen werden kann! Matjessill hat einen festen Platz beim Mittsommerfest oder wird zusammen mit frischen Kartoffeln, saurer Sahne, Schnittlauch und etwas brauner Butter gegessen.
