The fact that people from Skåne want their coffee a bit darker roasted was something Brazilian Carlos Zoéga knew way back in 1881 when he started to sell his coffee in Helsingborg. This is where it is produced today still. Zoegas coffee roastery in Helsingborg was founded in 1886, and has offered Swedish coffee lovers their good coffee ever since. The popular Mollbergs mix from 1903 is the oldest coffee mix. It is characterised by full-bodied dark roast with an elegant taste and notes of black currant and toffee.
