For this bread we have once again drawn inspiration from Land Alice Gustafsson and her living livestock in Skallskog. She grew up on Landgården, where crispbread baking was part of her daily chores. After many years as a baker with us at Leksands Knäckebröd, Alice has now retired to her childhood shack where she continues to bake her crispbread. This is a dark, musty and robust crispbread that fits just as well on the everyday table as for a party. In addition to sourdough, there is malt and flaxseed which gives that little extra chew resistance. A little crispier and a little thinner with a wonderful home-baked taste.
