Svensk Fjällröding - Swedish Artic Char 220g
Svensk Fjällröding från Norrland - Artic Char from Northern Sweden
Our premium Arctic char is farmed in the large mountain lake Malgomaj, located in the Vilhelmina municipality in Lapland. Since 2008, we have been cultivating the majority of our Lapland Arctic char here. The farm is situated 1.5 km out into the lake, which stretches 70 km in length and reaches a depth of 100 meters at its deepest point. The cold, exceptionally pure mountain water offers ideal conditions for fish farming.
We recommend pan-frying the fish with the skin side down for optimal results, and it pairs beautifully with a delicious mustard sauce blended with a bit of crème fraîche.
Origin: Sweden
Latin name: Salvelinus alpinus
With/without Skin: Fillet with skin
Farmed or wild-caugh: Farmed
Fresh frozen: You will receive it frozen.
