Norrmejerierna Västerbottensost Original CENTER CUT - Matured Cheese ca 1000 g
CENTER CUT Approx. 1kg
Each whole cheese of 18 kilograms yields only two center cuts when divided. With its rich, characteristic flavor, it is perfect for weekends, parties, and celebrations. Serve it at room temperature on a buffet, or cut it into pieces for a cheese platter.
Västerbottensost® is a crumbly, flavorful, hard cheese made from Northern Swedish cow's milk. The cheese is aged for at least 14 months to achieve its unique taste. In the center cut, you may sometimes notice crunchy, white crystals, a sign that the cheese has been aged for a long time! The cheese has been produced since 1872 and can only be made at the small dairy in Burträsk. Västerbottensost® is a Royal Warrant Holder and a unique piece of Swedish culinary history.
