Ingredients

For 1 Drink:

  • 50 ml (1.7 oz) gin, perhaps Hernö Gin
  • 25 ml (0.8 oz) fresh lemon juice
  • 15 ml (0.5 oz) rosemary simple syrup (see preparation instructions below)
  • 1 fresh egg white (for foam)
  • Edible gold flakes, for garnish
  • Fresh rosemary sprig, for garnish
  • Dusting of cinnamon, optional

Step 1: Prepare the Rosemary Simple Syrup
  1. In a small saucepan, combine:
  2. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves.
  3. Let the syrup simmer gently for 2-3 minutes to infuse the rosemary flavor.
  4. Remove from heat and allow it to cool completely. Strain out the rosemary sprig and store the syrup in an airtight container.
Step 2: Mix the Cocktail
  1. Add the following ingredients to a cocktail shaker:
  2. Dry Shake (without ice) for 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white and create a thick foam.
  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake again vigorously for another 10-15 seconds to chill the mixture.
Step 3: Serve and Garnish
  1. Strain the cocktail into a tall, frosted glass to enhance the presentation.
  2. Garnish the foam topping with: Anis Star.
