- 100 ml (3.4 oz) tonic water or sparkling water

For Garnish:

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Blueberry Syrup
- Combine 1/2 cup (100 g) of fresh blueberries, 1/4 cup (50 g) sugar, and 1/4 cup (60 ml) water in a small saucepan.
- Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries burst and the mixture thickens slightly (about 5 minutes).
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, discarding the solids, and let it cool completely.
Step 2: Mix the Cocktail
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine gin, lemon juice, and blueberry syrup. Shake well for about 10-15 seconds until chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
Step 3: Top and Garnish
- Top with tonic water or sparkling water for a crisp finish.
- Garnish with a small sprig of fresh pine or rosemary to mimic the forest vibe. Add a few fresh juniper berries or blueberries for a decorative touch.
