They are quick and easy to make, and the ingredients are simple and affordable. Plus, the combination of chocolate, coconut, and coffee is hard to resist! 

Swedish chocolate balls are a beloved baking good in Sweden that has been enjoyed for generations and many of us have really fond memories from our childhoods enjoying a bit of fika with these delicious little things. They are a simple but delicious treat that is perfect for any occasion, and they are sure to be a hit with anyone who tries them. So let's bake some, shall we?


All you need is: 150 g butter, 1½ dl sugar, 3 tbsp cocoa, 1 tsp vanilla sugar, 2 tbsp cold coffee, 4 dl oats, coconut flakes or pearl sugar.


1. Mix the sugar and butter.

2. Stir in cocoa, vanilla sugar, coffee and oatmeal.

3. Form round balls and roll them in coconut flakes or pearl sugar. Store in the fridge or freezer.
